The affordable Jays X-Five Wireless on-ear wireless headphones and this is what we'll be reviewing. A lot of people keep looking for a lightweight and comfortable wireless headphones so they can use it for longer periods of time and this model exactly offers that their code itself is like all day every the day that means you can keep enjoying your music for longer periods without getting tired they offer quite a bit of feature like you've got jay's signature sound is quite lightweight and yes they do have a built-in microphone as well so the Jays X-Five is available in three different colors the one we have right now is the blue color edition these are made in Sweden and come in this sort of box packaging one more highlight about the product is the battery life the brand says that they offer around like 20 hours of battery life on a single charge so that is something.
I'll let you know guys after testing them out all right let's quickly get started with the unboxing the box opens up like this and on opening it we've got the x5 at the top in this beautiful blue color edition whoa I have to say they look quite attractive from my first impressions and damn these are super lightweight in the hand and have a very slim and sleek profile we'll come back to the headphones in a moment first, let's also see what else do we get in the box, there's a user manual make sure to read that for all the info and an accessory box see this accessory box includes a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm aux cable and a micro USB cable for charging I was actually expecting to see a type-c cable over here anyways that's it these were all the stuff we got in the box.
Now let's have a closer look at the headphones the Jays X-Five wow I have to say these are really good looking I love that blue color the x5 come with 40 mm drivers and have a foldable design you can easily fold the ear cups inside and put them in your bag and carry them anywhere not only that the ear cups on it are also rotatable just like this so let me give you all a closer look and show you what do we have on it we've got the Js branding on both the sides and talking about the build quality is very nice to let's also, check out the available connectivity ports and buttons.
There is a charging led indicator and a charging port on the left ear cup well that's it over here now going to the other side there's a microphone a status led indicator a power button 3.5 boxboard and media control buttons as well you've got the volume to downplay pause and volume up the quality of the buttons are also nice if you ask about the headband is adjustable you can easily extend it like this to fit almost any head size and talking about the cushioning there's a decent amount of padding is done on the headband.
If you look at the ear cups also very good quality they've got memory foam ear cups and feel very soft and spongy well that's it that was our complete look at the design and the build quality now let me just put them on and tell you about the comfort and the sound the Jays X-Five are super lightweight and feel quite comfortable to wear for long term usage you'll be surprised when you put them on because you won't even feel like you're actually wearing headphones they're that lightweight the noise isolation was average as there on-air type headphones right and we're actually leaking a bit of sound when you go beyond 75 volume level now talking about the sound quality wow the sound quality was pretty good to see first of all let me tell you that these are not made for bass lovers who want deep punchy bass in their music it produces more like a balanced and natural sound covering the frequency response range from 32 hertz to 18 kilohertz I've played a variety of music on it and let me tell you it was producing a great amount of detail in the mids and high frequencies the mids felt crisp and clear and I was quite impressed with the vocals as well they had a nice warm and mellow feel the high-frequency response was also good.
It was producing smooth treble with minimum harshness coming to the base as I've told you just now it's not made for the bass heads the x5 was offering just the right amount of bass needed on the overall let me tell you that you'll be quite satisfied with the sound quality one of the best you can get around this price range the distortion also like a minimum of up to 90 volume level and the audio output also very loud and satisfactory not to forget these headphones also have a built-in microphone but I felt the mic quality was average.
If you are in a silent environment then it was fine but in case if you use them outside then they pick up a lot of background noise and the other person couldn't hear you clearly all right let's talk about the battery life was very good at them on average playing music at 70 volume level, I was getting around 16 and a half to 17 hours of battery life on a single charge which is pretty decent well that's it guys that were my review on the Jays X-Five wireless headphones the very good headphones for the price quite lightweight super comfortable stylish and offer great sound for the price. The only thing I felt is they don't have apex support and the Mic quality was average the Jays X-Five headphones price around 39999 rupees in India.
