The Poco x3 is the successor to the Poco x2 and they have changed a few things not too much but let's have a look at this and here again it says reality flow 120 hertz so again uh we are still having the 120-hertz refresh rate on this one and if you go towards the back uh this one is having the new snapdragon 732 g processor and you could say this is the combination of the 730 g and the 720 the best of both uh it's based on the eight-nanometer process now they have increased the battery let's say six thousand milliamp hour the old x2 if you recall was 4500 so I'll be it'll be interesting to see how much does the new one weigh and they say it has a 64-megapixel quad camera but on this one the original x2 uh that 64 megapixel was the sony imx686 on this one it's a sony imx682 so let's see if it's good enough or not and uh again 120 hertz and uh this is the six gigabyte ram variant with 128 gigabytes of storage uh there will be also one more variant with six gigabytes of uh ram and 64gb storage and there will be also one more variant eight gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes uh the base six gigabytes with 64 will start at 17, 000 and the highest 28 almost 20,000 anyway so let's open this up.

The sim ejector tool is in the case and we're getting a case also in the box so it's a transparent case that we are getting let I just take this out so has that cut out and let me just keep this to the side and let's see the so as you can see this is a little bit different the camera set up it's not I don't know what you call this hex so it says poco over here big as you can see and that quad-camera setup it looks like five but it's a quad-camera setup guy anyways front we have just a single camera instead of two on the earlier x2 and here uh now this is supposed to be a new 33-watt fast charger so actually nice to see they're bundling that in the box and this will be your USB type-c cable again use this cable with this charger to get the best results.
So let's just put this to the side and let's look at the handset itself let's see I just want to see how much does it weigh that's the original this is the original Poco x2 and this was 208 grams the new one let's see wow this is more definitely 228 grams this also comes with that 6000mah battery so certainly the weight has increased uh let's look at the physical overview uh here we still do have that ir blaster and your secondary noise cancellation microphone is here we have the volume rocker and again the power button and the fingerprint scanner is embedded in one uh here your speaker and this is supposed to be having a stereo speakers we'll check that so your main speaker microphone type c port uh headphone jack is there so that's nice and the sim ejector tool.
it has to be dual sim but anyways let's look at it does it have a dedicated micro-sd card slot or not oh no dedicated micro-sd card slot so they should have given this one now you will have to go with the base storage might not be enough you would have to go to 128-gigabyte period so that will increase the cost to about 18 500 so I feel missed opportunity there and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera so let me do one thing let me just boot this up I hope it has some power oh yeah and by the time it actually boots up and I set it up here is a configuration overview the spoke x3 is having a 6.67-inch full HD plus IPS LCD screen with a 120-hertz refresh rate it is having the snapdragon 732 g processor it comes with Adreno 618 GPU comes with six or eight gigabytes of ram storage will be 64 or 128 gigabytes it has a quadrate camera set up the main camera is a 64 megapixel then we have a 13-megapixel ultra-wide then we have a 2 megapixel for macro and a 2 megapixel for depth going to the front-facing camera it's a punch hole 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
It is also having stereo speakers and a 6000 milliamp-hour battery with a 33-watt fast charger so guys I was setting up the phone and I didn't add me account but still as you can see it's asking us for a lot of stuff like user experience program personalized ads and disabling and I want to disable it so again be careful I don't know why they are asking all this they say this is different from Xiaomi or Redmi but I don't get it why they were asking this anyways this runs on the latest mini 12 so again a lot of junk so I'm just going to skip and set up it says is completed so guys I've set up the device so let's have a closer look at the same now and we have the fingerprint scanner herein the power button itself and as you can see guys fairly responsive and it's just downloading a bunch of stuff as you can see just and we have the quick toggles over.
I notice some lag here but again it might be just the initial setup that's happening and uh if we look at this we have the app tray let's see if some junk apps are inserted yes this is some bubble whatever double story so let's uninstall it so yes you can uninstall so there is quite a bit of junk that is installed in fact a lot of games and all those things I don't know why they just loaded uh on this on red it was okay but this is Poco .so yes you still have a lot of junk apps that are unnecessary apps I would say uh pre-installed even Netflix is there that's surprising booking a lot of apps so let's uh let's go under the hood and over here if we go uh the thing with this one is that uh that refresh rate as I've told you you can go up to 120-hertz refresh rate on this one also I'm keeping it on 60 because my camera acts funny if I keep it 120 but yeah that is there so just by default it was at 120 so um so if we go to about the phone as you can see twin about 20 GB is sort of used so this is the 128-gigabyte variant that's why I say guys if you're going for the base variant that has only 64 gigabytes out of that 20 gigabytes will be used so roughly about 43.5 gigabytes will be only available to you and this is a hybrid slot so again be careful if you're going for the base variant if you're sort of a heavy user use a lot of storage.
Then I would not recommend the 64-gigabyte variant you will have to go with this variant that is 6 gigabytes and 128 gigabytes of storage and this is about Rs 18,500 so that's regarding the storage and again this is me UI version 12 guys and on 60 hertz I don't know my eyes have become sensitive or I'm noticing that slides letter but one thing I just noticed is that looks like the haptic motor has improved on this the haptic feedback that I'm getting is actually much better even when i scroll it's reaching the end I'm getting a haptic feedback so looks like they improve the haptic feedback on this smartphone so again this is the new Poco the launcher that we are having and regarding the weight guys uh I feel yes that heft I am feeling it now so again you might it is definitely heavy at 6000 milliamp-hour battery uh so the weight is there so again if you have to get used to it so beware of the weight of this device and i don't know what do you think about this Poco written at the back do let me know and uh this is the snapdragon 730 2g so I expect with that 6000 milliamp-hour battery uh the battery life should be really good, I will test it out, guys. I'll put my main sim on this one and next to a couple of days a week or after a week or so I'll post my in-depth review but let's also look at the camera on this one uh because uh that's again the main thing it has that 64-megapixel main camera 13-megapixel ultra-wide and again that two two-megapixel uh just for heck they use it they say macro and depth that you really don't need a separate camera anyways but that's what we have and 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
So uh it wants some permission okay boss I love oh my god it's asking so many things select the function for the shutter record video okay okay so tap to focus is there and it says 1x and 2x also is there but guys this is digital that's it's doing it doesn't have any what do you say telephoto lens or anything like that and if you press this again it goes to the wide angle and the right angle is actually nice 13 megapixel that's nice actually they didn't go with eight-megapixel like everyone is going so that's actually nice uh so you do also have this portrait mode and as you can see I can see that depth effect and you also even have more modes let's go look at this front-facing camera some beauty mode is enabled by default guys so again disable it's smoothing and all those things are there so again disable it so we also have the portrait mode again we have to play around with that but let me do one thing let me actually take some sample shots so that you get a better idea regarding the camera so here are the samples taken with the rear-facing camera and it was a very cloudy day and as you can see still it managed to get some very good picks as you can see this regular shot 2x zoom and this was that wide-angle lens again regular this is that 2x zoom and this was that wide angle lens again some more casual shots again.
I noticed how well the shots came even though the lighting was simply not that good now this is taken in completely artificial lighting in my office and here also, I felt that it actually did a very good job as you can see now I'm going to some human samples is completely artificial lighting here also I felt that Poco has optimized the camera actually very well, and as you can see we got some very good uh shots with the same now I'm going to the front-facing camera these were taken with the front-facing camera and here also I feel it did a good job but it can be improved a little bit. Regarding the storage the base variant comes with 64 gigabytes of storage but if you plan to use it for more than a year then I would frankly suggest going with at least the six gigabyte ram variant that comes with 128 gigabytes of storage, yes I know that's priced almost at Rs 18,500 but again these days many of us actually use it with dual sim and this does not have that hybrid slot.
